Description

Discovered in the 1970s, P-Mentha-8-thiol-3-one is an extremely potent molecule found in trace amounts in buchu absolute. Its odor is penetrating and very diffusive. Used with a light touch, it enriches and adds realism to many accords, especially fruity ones. Blackcurrant, peach, blackberry, and even tropical creations are where it works best. NOTE: We recommend diluting to 0.1% or even 0.01% for easier dosing.
