Description

Alaskan Cedar is a colloquial name for a tree from the cypress family, known as Cupressus Nootkatensis. However, the scent of its essence is decidedly more cedar than cypress. In character, it resembles Virginia cedar but is more pronounced and diffusive. What distinguishes its essence is the high content of Nootkatone and Nootkatene molecules, which impart a bright, almost citrusy hue.
