As with all salicylates Cis-3-Hexenyl Salicylate has a moderate, somewhat translucent fragrance. Its value becomes apparent only when combined with other ingredients. It can 'open up' and unify the composition in which it is used. An inconspicuous, yet very useful molecule in a perfumer's palette.
