It blends well with floral notes (jasmine, rose, violet, lavender, etc.) as well as sophisticated ambery, woody-aldehydic, tobacco and masculine creations. Synergies 80% – Kephalis 20% – Dupical A beautiful fresh and spicy blooming note with some cardamom facets, bringing nervosity and naturality to white petals.

Use it to add softness and velvety goodness to a wood accord, or simply use it alone for a more interesting take on amber wood than the classic patchouli ethanone family. According to Givaudan, “Kephalis is a very versatile and rich product, used as a long lasting heart and base notes. It blends well with floral notes (jasmine, rose, violet, lavender, etc.) as well as sophisticated ambery, woody-aldehydic, tobacco and masculine creations.” Though typically used between 2 – 5% of a total formula, Kephalis can be overdosed quite comfortably.
