Indole needs no introductions. It is naphthalenic (think mothballs), unpleasant, extremely powerful and indispensable for most white flower accords but especially Jasmine. In small amounts it is very naturalising as we see in its very clever use at just 0.1% in the original Eau Sauvage (1966) of Edmund Roudnitska. Indole is sold in powder form and can be added directly to your fragrance compound. If you are looking for something a little easier to manage, we also stock Indolene [https://fraterworks.com/products/indolene] which combines Indole with Hydroxycitronellal for a more floral and less intense effect.
