Lavandin (a cross between spike and regular Lavander) should not be passed over
for its more dignified and popular ancestor Lavender. It may be the rought and
tumble little brother but it has a majestic richness all of its own and for
those looking for a decidedly present lavender note, this wonderful Lavandin
Absolute from Payan Bertrand it just what you need.
It has 6% coumarin, doubling that of our decolourised Lavender Absolute (and
matching that of our pure Lavender “Signature” Absolute)

Despite being a Lavandin product, this is sweeter and more hay-like in the
drydown but having a more camphoraceous top note. But don't be put off, the
camphor is so well balanced that this could easily pass as a lavender absolute
or even oil (despite its intense green).

Perfume uses (PerfumersWorld)
For a top note (which should not be too strong in a good-qualityoil), and for adding a woody, herbaceous undertone. Also, to evoke or enhancethe following: New Mown Hay, Forest, Herbal, Floral, FernBlends well with=> +Violet +Citrus Oils +Clove Bud +Patchouli clove, bay leaf,cinnamon, citronella, cypress, pine, clary sage, geranium, thyme, patchouli,rosemary and citrus oils, especially bergamot and lime
