Oranger Crystals (Methyl Beta Napthyl Ketone) are a fine powder with a delicate
and extremely long lasting scent of orange blossoms. They are easier to dose
than the much stronger (and impactful) Methyl Anthranilate
[https://fraterworks.com/products/methyl-anthranilate] and Nerolin
[https://fraterworks.com/products/nerolin-yara-yara] (Yara Yara) and the two are
often found together in Neroli type bases.
Oranger Crystals are also wonderful nuancers for Jasmine
[https://fraterworks.com/collections/jasmine-collection] and Sweet Pea
[https://fraterworks.com/products/sweet-pea] notes. They blend extremely well
with the classic nitro musks, particularly Musk Ketone.
Despite the high IFRA restriction, they are still a very useful addition to the

Essential for creating tenacious orange blossom and neroli accords;
provides excellent fixation and stability in soaps and functional products.

Use (Hekserij)
Oranger crystals have a scent that is especially reminiscent of orange blossom.
The odour is medium strong, but because it is a solid, making a solution can be
a good idea. For example 10% in either DPG, TEC or IPM: all these make a stable
solution. Typical use is in orange blossom accords, but in smaller amounts it
can work well in many fragrances. Jasmine is a good example there, but also many
other floral accords.

Oranger crystals are solid at room temperature. We supply them as a white to
yellowish crystal powder. The substance has a long shelf life. The substance
does not occur in nature.
