Rose de Mai Absolute is rich, heavy rose, which has a dry petal quality.

Rose de Mai Absolute is rose with a spicy, balsamic, and prominent mossycharacter. As an absolute, it is the heaviest and richest of all the roses. Rosede Mai is complex containing top, middle, and base notes of its own. The openingis balsamic and very oily; in its undiluted form it leaves a thick russet colouron the smelling strip. As it settles, it takes on a sweeter, narcotic characterand loses some of its mossy nature. In the final stages of the dry down, the topand mid notes are still apparent but the spicy, clove/eugenol aspect becomesmore noticeable.
