Cashmeran® has it all — fruit, florals, musk, wood and spice. It is one of the most interesting materials in the perfumer's palette and really quite indispensable these days. Fragrance marketers often refer to it as “Cashmere Wood” or “White Wood” but there is so much more to it. Cashmeran® works from traces to overdose, as evidenced by the nearly 7% used in By The Fireplace (2015) by Maison Martin Margiela where it blends with Boisambrene Forte, Z11 [https://fraterworks.com/products/z11-10-mip] and a massive 4% of Trimofix.
