This is a wonderfully sweet and fine benzoin resinoid made from only Grade A tears (the highest quality). Furthermore, to maintain its natural certifiability it is diluted to 50% in natural Triethyl Citrate (an odourless diluent isolated from citrus oil). Many Benzoin products have chemical side odours (or perhaps worse, no odour at all) because they are produced in a relatively careless way owing to their use more as a fixative than a note in itself, but this Benzoin from V. MANE Fils pays homage to the raw material — being made with as much dignity and care as it would receive if it were the finest rose extract.
