It encapsulates the purest aspects of an entire cask of rum from the most volatile alcoholic top notes to the nuanced drydown of scorched sugar. This is a must have natural ingredient for a Piña Colada type base (see our free demonstration formula below) or any scent needing a novel liquor character. “Rum is an alcoholic beverage obtained from sugarcanes and developed in the 17th century on the Caribbean plantations. The distillate is usually aged in barrels and coloured with burnt sugar.
