Norlimbanol® is the classic Firmenich version of Timberol. It is a racemic blend and so is softer and easier to work with than the highly purified Norlimbanol® Dextro [https://fraterworks.com/products/norlimbanol-dextro] which we also stock; this racemic version is also much more affordable. Like the dextro form, Norlimbanol — in traces — boosts the woody and ambery notes of a fragrance, with an impact from top to bottom. This is the hedione of wood materials. It is indispensible and every perfumer should have it even if they already have Norlimbanol® Dextro. Nolimbanol® blends beautifully with Sandexol® [https://fraterworks.com/products/sandexol], Ambre Royal [https://fraterworks.com/products/ambre-royal-733713], Ambrexol™ [https://fraterworks.com/products/ambrexol] and Royal Leather [https://fraterworks.com/products/royal-leather].
