Benzaldehyde is the classic almond chemical and makes up 80-95% of natural almond oil. In addition to its obvious uses providing almond and cherry notes to a fragrance, in trace amounts it adds beautiful and inimitable nuances to top notes. Overdose it with Acetophenone for a cherry accord, mix it with Vanillin “Signature” [https://fraterworks.com/products/vanillin] and a touch of Maltol [https://fraterworks.com/products/maltol] for a marzipan accord, or use a trace to bring out the hidden almond nuances in Exaltolide [https://fraterworks.com/products/exaltolide].
