This is the most perfect encapsulation of the scent of smoky and newly sawn oak. Oakwood CO2 from LMR is so good you'll want to build an entire fragrance around it! Blend it with a smoky base like Bouleau Pyrogene 1840 [https://fraterworks.com/products/bouleau-pyrogene-1840] and an overdose of Orbitone® T [https://fraterworks.com/products/orbitone] for a modern scent. This is quite a dark viscous material at 60% (the default dilution from LMR) so we also offer it further diluted to 10%. Oakwood CO2 is an upcycled product because it is made from offcuts of oak used in the manufacture of superior aging barrels for the fine wine industry. In the words of LMR: “Creating unique, sustainably sourced natural extracts starts with the precise selection of the best trees. In the interests of protecting the environment and sustaining a quality resource, this sourcing of the best oakwoods by our partner has been awarded PEFC certification, as it meets very demanding specifications in compliance with the French National Forests Office.
