This beautiful Fraterworks base represents fine black China tea of the variety used by Sir Joseph Banks who invented Earl Grey Tea (later named for Banks' friend the second Earl Grey, prime minister of England). It is a full bodied robust tea base built around many rich and luxurious naturals. It will impart a top to bottom tea note and can be used in very small amounts to overdose though we recommend something in the vicinity of 0.5 – 1%. Add Bergamot [https://fraterworks.com/products/bergamot-oil-melito-p-n] for a distinct Earl Grey note, or a touch of Fir Needle Oil [https://fraterworks.com/products/douglas-fir-needle-oil] and our signature rectified Birch Tar [https://fraterworks.com/products/birch-tar-extra-oil-rectified] to mimic Lapsang Souchong tea.
