With the highest fixative power of all the orris products, this is a hidden gem that far too few perfumers take advantage of. This should not be confused with orris butter which is actually a true essential oil; orris resinoid is deep brown in colour while orris butter [https://fraterworks.com/products/orris-germanica-butter-15-irones] (also known as orris concrete) is a creamy white waxy solid. We are selling this resinoid at 50% dilution in natural odourless triethyl citrate as it is almost impossible to work with pure as it is so viscous that it borders on solid. We are, however, also supplying it pure so please check your selected dilution. This resinoid contains a maximum irone load of 1.7%.
