In Melito di Porto Salvo (25km from Reggio) there can be found two treasures — the first is the holy image of the Madonna of Porto Salvo, and the second the locals call "Green Gold"… Bergamot Melito. The finest bergamot in the world grows in the Calabrian region of Italy and Melito di Porto Salvo is home to the most revered crops. For that reason we present it here in its purest form. This is not bergaptene or furocoumarin free. This is 100% pure and natural green bergamot oil and you will never find better. Hand selected by Fraterworks, this is the very same quality bergamot used by master perfumers such as Jean Carles, Ernest Beaux, Edmond Roudnitska, the heads of the House of Guerlain and many others. Fortunately, while IFRA restricts the amount you can use of this oil, it is still perfectly permissable up to 0.4% of your finished fragrance.
