Fir Balsam is the scent of winterly days, the great outdoors and Christmas festivities; perhaps no other material is so deeply entrenched in our shared scent-memory. It is also incredibly versatile, with fruit notes that can subtly enrich a gourmand to woody notes that blend well with all the classics such as vetiver, cedarwood and sandalwood. This V. MANE Fils extract is rich, green, woody and sweet. It is a truly wonderful specimen of Fir Balsam and a must-have for all perfumers. Fir Balsam is found in Polo Green (1978, our Compound Green), Drakkar Noir (1982), Rubenstein's Men's Club (1966), Patou Pour Homme (1980) and Patou Pour Homme Prive (1994), and Oscar de la Renta's Pour Lui (1980), amongst many others. Because Fir Balsam is extremely thick we offer it at 50% dilution in natural Triethyl Citrate [https://fraterworks.com/products/triethyl-citrate-natural] (an odourless isolate from citrus).
