Created by a master perfumer at Chuit Naef & Cie in its earliest days, Opoponax 216 differs from Opoponax Doux [https://fraterworks.com/products/opoponax-doux-741229] in that it has a more intense vanilla note and subdued woods. It was favoured by the early Guerlain perfumers and featured in the original Jicky of 1889 with a wonderful overdose of Mysore sandalwood. It was also the key amber of Arpège by Lanvin. Usable at up to 16.6% for IFRA compliance, this is a very versatile and luscious base, rich with all the usual resins and luxurious naturals such as aged patchouli and Mysore sandalwood. amber Best Seller golden no_reg
