Lyral® is one of the most beautiful floralising chemicals we have; it is soft, radiant and incredibly long lasting. Unfortunately it is also now banned by the EU and restricted to a mere 0.2% of a finished fragrance by IFRA. While patents [https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2019141761A1/en] have been filed for singular molecules that allegedly replace Lyral®, none are commercially available and neither are they likely to be so in the near future. Thus was born Lyfral®, the Fraterworks alternative. In creating Lyfral® our first goal was to have a floralising base that was simply beautiful to smell — appealing at the most fundamental level. Next was the task of mimicking the essential aspects of Lyral® as best we could. The result is Lyfral®, a base which is lovely in its own right but also functions as a direct one for one stand-in for Lyral®. This can also stand in as a one-for-one replacer for captive Mahonial.
