When Biolandes first sent me a sample of this material I was completely
unfamiliar with it. By-Absolutes (absolutes produced from the by-products or
waste materials of essential oil or absolute manufacturing) are relatively new
and it was one I had never sampled. On the first sniff I was in love. This was
the truest encapsulation of the soul of historic long-aged sandalwood
This is pure nostalgia; secret rooms, vintage perfumes discovered in the back of
a medicine cupboard, polished floors in now-vacant European palaces. No
Sandalwood material has so excited me in many years. Once a regular part of the
