Ambre Aegyptus is the scent of Ancient Egypt. Weave a magical tale of Ancient
Egypt into the fabric of your fragrances with this beautiful modern amber base.
Constructed around a heart of intensely sweet vanilla tempered with exotic
mandarin and crowned with rare herbs and precious oriental resins, this amber is
a fragrant treasure. Dazzling white musks meld with the latest radiant wood
molecules in perfect balance with luscious Mysore sandalwood, sweet patchouli
and aged cedarwood. Jasmine absolute from the grand Nile Delta recalls the
anointing of the king-gods as they were laid to rest in the gilded tombs of the
ancient city of the dead: Abydos.
Use Ambre Aegyptus alone in overdose as a more beautiful and interesting version
of Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens, or use it as the foundation of a magnificent
