NIGHT QUEEN is a rare fragrance base created by Master Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, exclusively for Fraterworks. Inspired by the elusive Queen of the Night flower (Selenicereus grandiflorus)—a cactus that blooms for a single night each year—this composition captures the fleeting purity and nocturnal magic of this ghostly blossom. Its delicate floralcy is brightened by cool green facets and softened by creamy undertones, echoing the brief, beautiful life of a bloom that lives only in moonlight. PERFUMERY USAGE NIGHT QUEEN brings a haunting elegance to compositions, with excellent lift and translucency. It pairs effortlessly with white florals such as Jasmine Sambac and Orange Blossom Absolute, as well as night-themed molecules like Helional, Melonal, and Methyl Dihydrojasmonate. It can be used as a central floral motif or layered for shimmer and mystery. PROCESS Created through a blend of specialty aroma materials and carefully selected natural isolates, NIGHT QUEEN reflects Fraterworks’ commitment to olfactory innovation.
