Crystals are the purest form of this aroma chemical and far less common (and much harder to find) than the liquid form. Also sometimes known as Cedrenyl Acetate, this material is a wonderfully soft woody note and has no IFRA restriction unlike the closely related (olfactorily) Cedrene and Cedrol. This very long-lasting material is wonderful as a soft wood in floral bases, but also works extremely well as an alternative to Sandalwood, Vetiver and Cedarwood.
