Civettal (Animal Quinoline), or tetrahydro para methyl quinoline, is a powerful animalic material that is indispensable when creating non-natural civet blends or where a discreet civet note is needed without the full complexity of the real product. It also works well in honey and tobacco blends. Civettal has a leather nuance but far less than the more common isobutyl quinoline. The two cannot substitute for one another. An excellent fixative when dosed right. Because of its strength, we sell this at 1% diluted with Dipropylene Glycol.
