With subtle nuances of fruit, this is the woody member of the family and is very
rare today, being very difficult to obtain. While Iralia is sweet powdery iris
and Isoraldeine Cetone Alpha is diffusive floral violet, Isomethyl Ionone Beta
is polished wood.
This is the famous ionone discovered by Edmond Roudnitska discarded in barrels
in the stock yard of De Laire during the second world war. With raw materials
hard to come by, he decided to turn the "waste" into something wonderful and his

complex floral base with nuances of fruit.
