Amyris Alcohol (also known as Amyrol) is the pure heart of Amyris oil. It has a softer and sweeter quality than the essential oil (from Amyris balsamifera) and can be used one for one wherever Amyris is used. Amyrol is particularly good for sandalwood accords or fragrances needing a high dose of natural wood materials that don't impart too strong a character of their own. It is well suited to modern fragrances that like to represent naturals in a more abstract or minimal way, just as Patchoulol [https://fraterworks.com/products/patchouli-alcohol] and Olibanol do the same for Patchouli notes and Olibanum respectively.
