Bois d'Encens is a Robertet all-natural speciality in which olibanum [https://fraterworks.com/products/olibanum-absolute] is co-distilled with cedarwood [https://fraterworks.com/products/cedarwood-extra-oil-virginia]. Co-distillation is the process in which two or more materials are turned into a single essential-oil type material by combining them prior to or during distillation. Bois d'Encense has the sweetness of fine Virginian cedarwood with the majesty and richesse of exotic frankincense. It is a wonderful material that can be used at quite high amounts. Replace all of some of the cedarwood in your scent for a more oriental touch, or just wrap it in some refined musks or a monolithic accord like Grojsman Plus [https://fraterworks.com/products/grojsman-plus] for a finished perfume.
