Cassie and mimosa are both members of the Acacia family. Mimosa is sweeter and
more refined, while cassie is more full bodied and complex. Both are essential
naturals for perfumers, with mimosa often appearing as a rich floral note in
fine fragrances and cassie being used to create masterful floral bases or add a
je ne sais quoi. Cassie is a wonderful naturalizer and can round out and enrich
fragrances at mere traces in much the same way as violet leaves
