Celery seed bears little resemblance to the scent of its more well-known celery plant, having really just a faint nuance of green celery. Mostly this material has a warm quality that is not entirely dissimilar to the scent of Cis Jasmone. Unsurprisingly, then, celery seed oil is a wonderworker when it comes to adding naturalness to heady florals; in particularly it adds space and lightness to intense tuberose accords. Despite its light aroma, celery seed is deceptively powerful and can overtake a blend quite easily, so careful dosing is required.
