Narcisse Base 184092D opens with sharp green freshness carrying mentholic and herbaceous facets that evoke snapped flower stems. This legendary Firmenich base transforms into a narcotic white floral heart where narcissus mingles with jasmine and tuberose. The sophisticated blend captures the living flower's intoxicating presence more faithfully than natural absolute, though we highly recommend naturalising the base with the natural material. You'll find this base superior to natural narcissus absolute for most applications - it's brighter, more consistent, and vastly more affordable. Use it as the floral heart of your composition where it provides both character and exceptional tenacity. Its subtle animalic-honey drydown with chypre-like mossy undertones adds vintage elegance without overwhelming. The base contains approximately phenylethyl alcohol providing rosy sweetness, Veloutone for fruity-lactonic creaminess, ionones for powdery violet depth, and Evernyl for mossy sophistication.
