Highly sought after, this is 100% natural Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol produced by Biotech (AKA Novorate Biotech) in China. It is EU and US natural and is the gold standard of this natural rose alcohol. In their own words: “Natural Phenethyl Alcohol (EU Standard, 99.9%) is [Biotech′s] first industrialized natural product. Our product, obtained by biotransformation of natural amino acid using yeast, has been confirmed natural by Eurofins Scientific. Cross-contamination is avoided through a unique production process consisting of a computer-controlled fermentation system, centrifugation, concentration, and rectification. Each unit in the line is fabricated from stainless steel in compliance with the hygiene requirements for food-grade products.” Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol is the main material used for reconstructions of rose. On its own it hints of red roses, but in combination with the other rose alcohols (geraniol, nerol, and citronellol) an entire bloom emerges.
