Rhodinyl Acetate has some similarities to other rose Acetates (it even shares an IFRA standard with Citronellyl Acetate) but with a darker and more leafy quality and significantly longer drydown period. Rhodinyl acetate is a lovely rose bouquet note with nuances of citrus and rose leaves. Use this material to add lasting vitality to rose, muguet, geranium and citrus bases. Use it as a basenote counterpart to continue the citronellyl acetate theme through a scent. Novel effects may be had mixing this with cyclomethylene citronellal.
