Jasmin Petals is one of the nicest classic De Laire jasmine bases. Characteristic of its time, it is build around an overload of the known synthetics of the time, particularly benzyl acetate and is very powerful. Henri Robert used it in Chanel No 19 (1970) and it also features in the Guerlain men's chypre Derby (1985). Demo formulas of both are below. Use it alone where you might normally use Benzyl Acetate for a more complex and beautiful jasmine note, or in combination with natural jasmine absolute or other jasmine bases for your own special accord. floral jasmine no_reg
