Tamison is an intense and powerful herbal green chemical with an obvious thujonic character and nuances of tropical fruit. It also exhibits a lovely green note not dissimilar to the highly restricted Methyl Octine Carbonate [https://fraterworks.com/products/methyl-octine-carbonate] and Methyl Heptine Carbonate [https://fraterworks.com/products/methyl-heptine-carbonate]. Tamisone blends incredibly well with super ambers such as Z11 [https://fraterworks.com/products/z11-10-mip]™, Boisiris [https://fraterworks.com/products/boisiris]® and Hydroxyambran [https://fraterworks.com/products/hydroxyambran], aroma chemicals like Iso E Super [https://fraterworks.com/products/iso-e-super], Orbitone® T [https://fraterworks.com/products/orbitone], Plicatone [https://fraterworks.com/products/plicatone] and Coranol [https://fraterworks.com/products/coranol], and with numerous naturals such as Davana [https://fraterworks.com/products/davana-oil-csm], Clary Sage [https://fraterworks.com/products/clary-sage], and Frankincense [https://fraterworks.com/products/frankincense-oil-somalia]. Firmenich was the last major manufacturer in the industry to make and sell Tamisone but they discontinued manufacturing in 2023 citing manufacturing difficulties. As a result, Fraterworks is working with a third party chemical manufacturer to return the product to market. Once you try it you'll definitely understand why this could not be allowed to vanish from perfumery organs around the world. Tamisone is a rare chemical and there is very little information available. It is not restricted at all by IFRA or the EU.
