Used often for its green tea and tobacco nuances, Yerba Mate is a powerful
herbal resinoid with phenolic qualities. This is a speciality of Payan Bertrand
so we are very happy to be able to offer it to our customers.
Mate has been used to great effect in modern scents such as Tempo (2018) by
Olivier Pescheux for Diptyque, Louis Vuitton's Cactus Garden (2019) byJacques
Cavallier Belletrud, Xerjoff's Torino22 (2022) and the luxurious Matsukita
(2021) by Clive Christian.
Mate Absolute is extremely thick and very dark in colour. Heat should be used to
liquify.
