Resembling a rodent but related to elephants, the rock hyrax is a wild animal
from Africa that marks its territory with a thick pheremone-laden
spray which petrifies over time. It is the rock-like nature of the aged material
that leads to its nickname: “hyraceum stone”. The animals that produced the
fossilised material we tincture at Fraterworks lived hundreds (and even
potentially) thousands of years ago.
Hyraceum tincture exudes a wonderfully complex barnyard-like odour crossed with
