Orange Flower Water Absolute is a byproduct of the manufacture of neroli oil. It
is made by solvent washing the water and materials remaining after the
distillation of oranger flowers for other purposes.
The material is wonderfully rich despite being secondary product and has an
intensely earthy quality absent from the oil and absolute of orange blossoms
making it ideal as a nuancer and enricher of those products. Orange Flower Water
Absolute is harsher but less indolic than Orange Blossom Absolute or Neroli Oil.
