Compound Le Male is our internal formula for the original Le Male from Jean Paul Gaultier. Launched in 1995, this is a classic fougère with an unconventional twist—featuring prominent vanilla and sweet notes alongside traditional barbershop lavender and mint. This compound features a distinctive sweet-spicy profile with high levels of vanilla and coumarin, balanced with lavender, mint, artemisia, cardamom and cinnamon. The result is a powerful masculine fragrance that helped redefine men's perfumery by proving that sweetness and strength could coexist. This compound is IFRA compliant (at a huge 25%) and ready to dilute and bottle. Just add alcohol. Please note that as this is the original formula it contains Lilial and is therefore not EU compliant. We may produce an EU compliant edition if there is sufficient demand.
