Isojasmone B-11 opens with a surprisingly herbal-vegetal facet reminiscent of fresh celery seed, immediately grounding its jasmine character in botanical reality. This distinctive green note prevents the material from reading as purely floral candy. The waxy, petal-like texture creates volume and substance that synthetic jasmine reconstructions desperately need. Unlike cis-jasmone which can feel sharper and more penetrating, isojasmone offers a rounder, fruitier jasmine character that works beautifully as a heart note modifier. Use it at 0.1–1% to add natural jasmine presence to floral bouquets, or blend with quinolines for classic chypre constructions. The 32-hour substantivity on blotter extends to approximately 3 days at working concentrations. Work with Isojasmone B-11 alongside methyl jasmonate and hedione for complex jasmine reconstructions.
