Cycloverdyl propionate opens with a soft, sweet floral-herbal character that sits somewhere between jasmine and fresh basil. A gentle anise undertone weaves through the heart, giving it unexpected depth. Green-woody facets round out the base, fruity and oily rather than sharp. This is the softer, longer-lasting cousin of Verdyl Acetate (Jasmacyclene) — where the acetate is bright and forcefully green, the propionate trades sharpness for refined herbal-floral warmth. It adds depth to jasmine and green-floral accords without dominating. Fougères and fresh compositions benefit from its sweet herbal backbone. Blend it with Hedione and benzyl acetate for a herbal-jasmine heart, or with dihydromyrcenol and coumarin for a green fougère. At 144 hours on a strip, tenacity is exceptional for such a gentle material. It works from traces up to 8% without turning aggressive.
