Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Ambrettolide (IFF) has a creamy musk scent. The odour is medium strong,
Ambrettolide can therefore be used undiluted. It combines well with fruit and
floral scents, as well as ambers. In addition, it contributes greatly to the
appearance of the fragrance composition: the fragrance carries on and appears
stronger. It is mainly a base note in perfumes. Fair to very stable in almost
all applications, including soap for example. Stable in candles, but a lot is
needed for a good effect.

Ambrettolide (IFF) is a colourless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature.
The purity is at least 98%, the substance has a fairly long shelf life. The
substance does not occur in nature in this form, although it strongly resembles
a natural variant. The manufacturer is IFF.
