Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Bourgeonal (Giv) has a fresh floral scent. Bourgeonal is widely used as a
replacement for Lyral and Lilial, namely as a floraliser. That means it adds a
distinct floral component to a fragrance composition, without overpowering or
directing the floral scent in one clear direction. It therefore fits into any
composition with a floral scent, especially with fresher floral scents such as
lily-of-the-valley or cyclamen. It can also add a subtle floral touch to fresh
compositions.
Physical properties
Properties (Hekserij)
Bourgeonal (Giv) is a colorless to yellow liquid at room temperature. It does
not occur in nature. The manufacturer is Givaudan, which is why we put (Giv)
after the name of the product.
