Usage

EO Angelica root has a green spicy scent, with animalic and spicy aspects. It
has quite a strong scent, making a 10% dilution in eg DPG can be helpful. It
goes well with other green and spicy scents, such as in chypres and fougères,
but it also goes well with ambers. You usually use less than 1% of this
substance in the fragrance composition. It is primarily a top to middle note in
perfumes and is stable in many products, including soap.

EO Angelica root is a light yellow to yellow-brown liquid at room temperature.
It has a fairly long shelf life. The oil is made by steam distillation from the
roots of the Angelica archangelica L., or angelica. Like any essential oil, this
one is a mixture of various substances. An indication of the composition is the
following:
> 25% - alpha Pinene
10-25% - delta 3-Carene
5-10% - Limonene, Myrcene
2-5% - Camphene, beta Caryophyllene, para Cymene, para Mentha-1,3-diene,
Terpinolene
1-2% - 4-Carvomenthenol, beta Pinene
