Usage
Use (Hekserij)
EO Coriander seed (org) has a spicy scent with some green floral aspects, which
is not very strong, use it undiluted. It goes well with other spicy scents, as
well as floral scents. It adds a touch of spice to your top note. It goes well
with many common top notes such as bergamot, lemon and rosewood. You usually use
between 0.1% and 5% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It is
primarily a top note in perfumes and is stable in most products, including soap.
Physical properties

EO Coriander seed (org) is a colorless to pale yellow liquid at room
temperature. The oil has a fairly long shelf life. The oil is made by steam
distillation from fruits (in fact not the seeds!) of coriander, or Coriandrum
sativum L.. This coriander is grown organically. Not to be confused with the oil
made from the green coriander plant, it is usually called cilantro oil. Although
there are similarities in smell, it is really a different oil.
