Essential Oil Cardamom seed has the distinctive metallic spice scent of
cardamom. It is quite strong and you usually use it in small quantities, for
that reason it can be useful to make a 10% dilution, for example in DPG. In
small quantities it can add a nice accent to almost all types of floral scents.
In addition, it is mainly used in amber perfumes, in leather, citrus and spice
scents. You usually use between 0,1% and 2% of this substance in the fragrance
composition, you can overdose, but then cardamom is the first thing you will
smell. It is primarily a top to middle note in perfumes and is stable in most
products, including soap.

Essential oil Cardamom seed is a pale yellow to yellow liquid at room
temperature. The substance has a reasonably long shelf life. The oil is made by
steam distillation from the seeds of Elettaria cardamomum (L.) Maton, or
cardamom. Like any essential oil, it is also a mixture of various substances. An
indication of the composition is the following:
> 25% - 1,8-Cineole
2-5% - beta Caryophyllene, Geraniol, Geranylacetate, d Limonene, Myrcene, alpha
Pinene, Sabinene, gamma Terpinene, 4-Terpineol, alpha Terpineol
