Essential oil Cedarwood Atlas has a woody scent, which is initially somewhat
animalic sweet with a hint of mint at the top. An oil that is not particularly
strong and therefore does not need to be diluted before mixing. It goes well
with other wood scents, but also with amber, fougère and leather. It has a
beautiful and distinctive cedarwood scent. You usually use between 0,1% and 10%
of this substance in the fragrance composition. It is primarily a base note in
perfumes and is stable in most products, including soaps.

Essential oil Cedarwood Atlas is a yellow to orange-brown liquid at room
temperature. The substance has a fairly long shelf life. The oil is made by
steam distillation from the wood of the Cedrus atlantica (Endl.) G.Manetti ex
Carriere. Like any essential oil, it is also a mixture of various substances. An
indication of the composition is the following:
> 25% - beta Himachalene, Himachalol
10-25% - alpha Himachalene, gamma Himachalene
2-5% - alpha trans Atlantone, alpha Cedrene
