Essential oil Grapefruit CP has a citrus scent with a characteristic bitter
aspect. The scent is not particularly strong: use it undiluted. It goes well
with other citrus fragrances. The characteristic bitter scent provides a more
exciting fragrance. You usually use between 0,1% and 10% of this substance in
the fragrance composition. It is mainly a top note in perfumes and is not very
stable in more aggressive products: it is better not to use it in soap.

Essential oil Grapefruit CP is a light yellow to orange-yellow liquid at room
temperature. The oil has a short shelf life and is sensitive to oxygen: replace
the oil at least once a year. The oil is made by cold pressing the epicarp of
the fruits of Citrus paradisi Macfad. AKA grapefruit. Like any essential oil,
this one is also a mixture of various substances. An indication of the
composition is the following:
> 25% - Limonene
2-5% - Myrcene, alpha Pinene
