Essential oil Orange sweet CP has a scent of oranges familiar to almost
everyone: a warm citrus scent. The scent is not very strong or overpowering, so
it can be used undiluted. It combines well with other citrus scents, as well as
with spices and flowers such as orange blossom and jasmine. You usually use
between 1% and 10% of this substance in the fragrance composition. It is mainly
a top note in perfumes. The substance is sensitive to oxygen from the air and to
sunlight, moreover easily affected by acidic and alkaline products such as soap.
Physical properties

Essential oil Orange sweet CP is a light yellow to orange-red liquid at room
temperature. The substance is sensitive to oxygen and light and therefore does
not have a long shelf life, replace it at least once a year. The oil is obtained
by cold pressing ('CP') from the peels of sweet oranges, fruits of the Citrus
sinensis (L.) Osbeck. The oranges used to make this oil were grown without the
use of artificial fertilisers and minimal use of pesticides. Like any essential
oil, this one is a mixture of various substances. An indication of the
composition is the following:
> 25% - Limonene
2-5% - Decanal, Myrcene, Alpha Pinene
