Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Wintergreen essential oil has a green, spicy, medicinal scent, which is not
particularly strong and therefore does not need to be diluted before mixing. It
goes well with other fresh, green and spicy scents, but also with certain floral
scents, especially tuberose and ylang ylang. You usually use between 0,1% and 5%
of this substance in the fragrance composition. In perfumes it is mainly a top
note. Quite stable: it can also be used in soap.

Essential oil Wintergreen is a light yellow to yellow liquid at room
temperature. The substance has a fairly long shelf life. The oil is made by
steam distillation from the leaves of Gaultheria procumbens L., or eastern
teaberry. No artificial fertilizers were used in the cultivation of these plants
and no, or minimal use of pesticides. Like every essential oil, this one is also
a mixture of various substances. An indication of the composition is the
following:
